This is the pricing the Dawson Creek Ski and Recreation Association has published, headed 2025-2026, taxes included. It is reproduced exactly and labelled honestly. Prices for the coming season have not been published — call the hill before you budget.
Early Bird
Early Bird is sold up to Ski Fair — and the date is not published
After Ski Fair the same pass costs about a third more. An adult goes from $396 to $528. A family goes from $972 to $1,296. That single date is worth hundreds of dollars to a household, and it is nowhere on the current site.

The club's published 2025-2026 season pass schedule, taxes included. The left column is what you pay if you buy before Ski Fair; the right column is what you pay after it.

A punch card pays for eight days and gives you ten. For an adult that works out at $38.40 a day against $48 at the window. All punch cards expire on 30 April.
One season label, one place to change it
Every price on this page carries the same season label, drawn from one field. When the board sets next winter's rates, somebody changes the label and the numbers once and the whole site is current — including the banner at the top of the home page. Nothing is a picture, so nothing needs a graphics program to update.

The chalet can be booked, and the club publishes a person to ask. Rentals and lessons are a different matter — no price list for them was available to us, so this page does not carry one.

Rentals and lessons
We could not find a published rental or lesson price list for Bear Mountain, so this concept does not invent one. If the club has those numbers, they belong here — in the same table shape as everything above, with the same season label.
Until then, the honest thing a website can do is say so and give you a phone number.
Reciprocal passes
Your season pass gets you a discount at other hills
Bear Mountain has reciprocal agreements with other hills: present your Bear Mountain season pass and you get up to a 25% discount. For a family that skis a couple of other hills a winter, that is a real part of what the pass is worth — and it is one of the better arguments for buying one at all.
The list of participating hills is deliberately not reproduced here. The published one is headed 2024-2025 — two seasons old — and a stale list of partner hills is worse than no list, because somebody drives four hours on it.

How to buy
Buying a pass, today
Here is what it actually takes to buy a Bear Mountain season pass in late July — and, below it, the change we would make.

Find a price
The published rates are headed 2025-2026 — last season. Nothing on the site says whether they still apply.

Find the deadline
Early Bird is "sold up to Ski Fair". The date of Ski Fair is not given anywhere, so you cannot tell whether you have a week or a month.

Ask a person
Which leaves the phone. In season that is the hill; out of season it is the club president's mobile.
A suggestion from JnP
Put three things at the top of the site and keep them there: the season the prices belong to, the Early Bird cutoff as a real date, and one button that starts a purchase. Everything else on a small hill's website can stay exactly as it is. Right now a family that decides in July to buy four passes finds last season's numbers, no deadline, and a phone number that is answered in the winter — and each of those is a reason to close the tab. While you are in there, the "Links" item in the main navigation currently returns a 404.
